Trembling Hands

4 Lunchbreaks

The Temper Trap played a live acoustic version of ‘Trembling Hands’ on the radio last Friday. The cut back version really gave the lyrics more clarity and meaning. It’s a beautiful song and as the video clip for the original version has trapeze artists, I decided to sketch one.

I sketched in my lounge, a cemetery, my office, a mountain, my bed, and a park. You can watch me sketching in all these places by clicking here or on the sketch.

Treading the ground
I once used to know
People are strangers
Same as before
Streets look familiar
I remember the part
Where I buried my head
So deep in my hands
All around me was dark
