Procrastination (should be studying)

Jaufre Rudel was a composer and poet who lived in the twelfth century. When the Crusaders returned from the East, he heard their reports about the beauty, wisdom, and wit of the Countess of Tripoli. Even though he had never seen her, he fell in love with her and composed many songs in honor of her beauty. He eventually left behind everything and set out to the East as a pilgrim to find her. On his way he became fatally ill, but lived to reach the port of Tripoli. When the Countess heard of him and his arrival, she went down to the port to see him and he died in her arms.

When Rudel wrote of his wish to obtain the love of the Countess, he compared it to the sunflower which wished to be the Sun.

She was his princesse lointaine.
