Je vais bien, ne t’en fais pas

3 Lunchbreaks …

Picture is from a nice little French drama: “Don’t worry, I’m fine” (Je vais bien, ne t’en fais pas)

What does it mean when we say “I’m fine”?

With respect to people and circumstances, ‘fine’  can be defined as …
“satisfactory; acceptable”
“enjoyable or satisfying”
“morally upright and commendable”

In music, ‘fine’  is defined as …
“the point at which a piece ends”
“an ending or finale”

So do we mean …
We are satisfied or accepting of our situation?
We feel morally right about our choices?
The music we made has reached its end?

… or is it just another way of saying, “Don’t Worry”.
